Cobra Breath

Cobra Breath
Professional Tantra Kriya Yoga Training
Cosmic Technology For Awakening The Pineal Gland, Siddhi Powers And Kundalini Energy.
Module Iii – Advanced Practice & Kundalini Activation

Join us for a III Module of unique Professional Cobra Breath and Tantra Kriya Yoga Training, where you will learn what the famous Cobra Breath is – which is an ancient technique for using breath, energy /prana and awakening Kundalini energy. The entire training consists of four separate modules. Module III is open to those who have previously participated in at least one of Modules I or II or have significant experience working with Anand Rudra and other Cobra Breath practitioners.
Cobra Breath is a tantric breathing and visualization technique that in its essence generates energy. It helps to awaken the Kundalini energy located in the first chakra and begin to direct its flow through the body. It is used to expand consciousness and can lead to states of bliss and happiness. Moving Kundalini energy through the body also has a rejuvenating effect on internal organs and supports cellular processes. It is an excellent preparation for meditation and rituals of sacred union. It helps to strengthen and transmute sexual energy.
Cobra Breath activates, unblocks, releases and balances the entire subtle system (chakras, nadis, marmas, granthis and talas). In addition, this practice supports the process of neurogenesis
(the formation of new nerve cells) and activates the Golden Triangle (pineal gland, pituitary gland and sahasrara).
Cobra Breath is a precious gift to humanity, dating back to ancient times and originated in Dravidian culture, in northern India. It was there that the conscious practice of using prana had its origins. Cobra breath is a transformative tool in tantric and yogic practices for awakening Kundalini energy. Through breath control, visualization and energy direction, practitioners can transcend ordinary consciousness and connect to deeper levels of self-awareness and universal energy.
Workshop is led by shamanism and tantric expert Anand Rudra – founder of True Tantra School, son of a Mexican shaman and grandson of a Mexican Yaqui Indian healer.
His expertise combines academic knowledge, practical experience and ancient practices. Rituals include Olmec, Aztec, Balinese, Dravidian, Siberian, Filipino and Mayan tribal traditions.

1. ADVANCED LEVEL III & IV PRESENTATION
The Advanced Professional Training in Cobra Breath is a high-level specialization program designed for experienced facilitators who already work with breath, energy, body, and consciousness.
Cobra Breath, as transmitted through Tantra Kriya Yoga, is not merely a breathing technique—it is a complete energetic technology for:
- Awakening and stabilizing Kundalini energy
- Refining the central nervous system
- Opening supra-conscious states
- Developing energetic authority and safety in teaching
This training focuses exclusively on Levels 3 & 4, where Cobra Breath becomes:
- A precise spinal and central-channel practice
- A method of conscious energy ascent
- A tool for transmission, not just experience
The program is structured into two immersive weekends, allowing deep embodiment, integration, and professional readiness.
2. WHY THIS COURSE IS NECESSARY
Many breathwork and yoga modalities today activate energy faster than the system can integrate it. This often leads to:
- Energetic overload
- Emotional destabilization
- Nervous system dysregulation
- Unclear or unsafe kundalini processes
Cobra Breath (Levels 3 & 4) addresses this gap by teaching:
- How energy moves, not just how it activates
- How to regulate intensity
- How to stabilize awakening
- How to teach responsibly
This course exists to restore depth, precision, and safety to advanced breath-based practices.
3. WHO THIS COURSE IS FOR
This training is specifically framed for:
Breathworkers
- Who guide intense altered states
- Who want greater nervous system literacy
- Who seek safer kundalini-compatible methods
Yoga Teachers
- Who work with pranayama and kriya
- Who feel called to advanced energetic transmission
- Who want to deepen beyond posture-based practice
Healers & Energy Workers
- Who channel or move subtle energy
- Who need clearer containment and grounding
- Who want to work through the central channel (Sushumna)
Bodyworkers & Somatic Therapists
- Who witness emotional and energetic releases
- Who want breath tools that integrate body-memory safely
- Who need post-session stabilization methods
4. IMPORTANCE OF DOING THIS TRAINING
This course is not about adding another technique.
It is about becoming energetically literate and sovereign.
Participants learn:
- To distinguish pranic movement vs kundalini ascent
- To recognize authentic spiritual opening vs nervous system stress
- To hold space without energetic leakage
- To guide others without projection or force
This is essential for any professional working with human consciousness and energy.
5. BENEFITS OF THE TRAINING
PHYSICAL LEVEL
- Regulation of the autonomic nervous system
- Improved spinal conductivity and posture
- Enhanced breath capacity and control
- Reduced stress-related somatic tension
Cobra Breath refines the neuro-respiratory-spinal axis, creating resilience rather than overload.
ENERGETIC LEVEL
- Purification of nadis (especially Sushumna)
- Safe awakening and circulation of kundalini
- Stabilization of high-frequency energy states
- Stronger energetic boundaries and containment
Practitioners learn to direct energy consciously, not be driven by it.
EMOTIONAL LEVEL
- Release of deep-seated emotional imprints
- Increased emotional neutrality and presence
- Reduced reactivity during intense processes
- Greater capacity to hold others without absorption
Cobra Breath teaches emotional digestion, not emotional flooding.
SPIRITUAL LEVEL
- Access to supra-conscious and non-dual states
- Awakening of Ajna and Sahasrara awareness
- Development of inner silence and witnessing
- Integration of awakening into daily life
Spirituality becomes embodied, grounded, and stable.
SEXUAL ENERGETICS LEVEL
- Access to re-structure the power of Kundalini
- Awakening of Agni Sara and the embodiment of the UNIERSAL LINGAM & the YONI
- Acknowledge the power of Sexual Energetics as cocreational force
- Super balance the Cosmic Knowledge and the Impulse of Life
Sexuality becomes embodied, spiritual awareness, divine presence and stability of the Siddhis.

In the Tantric tradition, Cobra Breath is a tool for:
- Kundalini Awakening: Kundalini is the dormant spiritual energy located at the base of the spine. Cobra Breath is designed to lift this energy up the spine (through the Sushumna Nadi, the central energy channel).
- Balancing prana: The breath harmonizes prana (life force) and cleanses the nadis (subtle energy channels), distributing the energy through the various chakras.
- Opening the Third Eye: Cobra Breath is often associated with the activation of the Ajna (third eye) chakra, which brings insight, intuition and spiritual clarity.
Cobra Symbolism
The term “cobra” in the practice of Cobra Breath refers to a snake, which symbolizes the Kundalini energy lying at the base of the spine, waiting to Awaken. This energy rises, passes through the subsequent chakras, eventually reaching the crown chakra and symbolizing enlightenment.

COBRA BREATH PRACTICE
The technique varies from tradition to tradition, but we can define the general framework:
1. PREPARATION:
Before practicing Cobra Breath, it is necessary to prepare the body and mind:
- Physical warm-up: Practice asanas (postures) such as cobra pose (Bhujangasana), cat-cow stretch and other spinal movements – to prepare the spine for the flow of energy
- Pranayama: Start with simple pranayama techniques such as Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing) or Kapalabhati (fire breathing) to balance prana and calm the mind.
- Meditation: Enter a meditative state by focusing on your breath and paying attention to your feelings.
2. THE BASIC TECHNIQUE OF COBRA BREATH
Although there are many levels of Cobra Breath (especially in Kriya Yoga systems), the following describes the general principles of the practice:
- Posture: Sit in a comfortable meditation position, such as Siddhasana or Padmasana, keeping the spine straight.
- Tongue Lock (Khechari Mudra): Gently roll the tongue back so that the tip of the tongue touches the soft palate. With advanced practice, this mudra helps redirect prana upward.
- Inhaling: Take a deep breath in through the nose. Visualize the breath entering through the third eye (Ajna chakra).
- Stopping the breath: At the top of the inhale, hold the breath briefly (only as briefly as is comfortable) while performing gentle Mula Bandha (root blocking) by clenching the pelvic floor. This blocks the energy at the base of the spine, allowing it to build up.
- Exhale: Exhale slowly through the nose, visualizing the energy flowing down the spine to the base. Imagine the breath descending through the chakras, as if the energy is coiling down.
- Visualization: Some traditions suggest visualizing the energy as a cobra ascending the spine with each inhalation and then coiling down with each exhalation.
3. ADVANCED LEVELS
At advanced levels, Cobra Breath may include Ujjayi breath (Ocean Breath), in which the throat is slightly constricted. In some traditions, inhalation is done with the mouth, and exhaling through the nose, often to the rhythm of internal visualizations.
Advanced practitioners are also trained to mentally direct the rising energy through specific chakras, consciously moving between states of energy and consciousness.
SUPPLEMENTARY PRACTICES
To fully awaken and realize the potential of Cobra Breath, additional practices may be beneficial:
1. Kriya Yoga & meditations that integrate breath work with energy movements through the chakras. Techniques such as Maha Mudra (movement of the spine combined with the breath) and Kriya Pranayama help refine the flow of energy.
2. Chakra’s meditation
Stay in meditation by focusing on each chakra, using visualization and sound to cleanse and activate the energy centers. This creates a clear path for the growing Kundalini energy that Cobra Breath seeks to stimulate.
3. Intoning specific mantras (sacred sounds) during or before Cobra Breath can increase concentration and create vibrational resonance in the subtle body. Some practitioners use source syllables for each chakra (e.g., LAM, VAM, RAM) to tune the energy centers.
4. Bandhas & mudras
Practicing Mula Bandha (root chakra clench), Uddiyana Bandha (abdominal clench) and Jalandhara Bandha (throat clench) during Cobra Breath helps contain and direct energy. Khechari Mudra, in which the tongue touches the soft palate, is also important for directing prana upward.

BENEFITS OF COBRA BREATH
- Increased Energy: Cobra Breath awakens and circulates Kundalini energy, revitalizing the body.
- Spiritual Awakening: It can lead to higher states of consciousness, inner peace and a deeper connection with oneself.
- Emotional Release: This breath helps remove emotional blockages stored in the energy body.
- Mind Clarity: Increases focus, intuition and insight by activating the third eye.
- Healing: By balancing prana, cobra breath can help with physical and emotional healing.
Cautions and tips
Cobra Breath is considered an advanced practice, especially in the later stages. It should be learned from an experienced teacher or guru to avoid improper use, which can result in physical or mental discomfort due to intense energy changes.

Primal Shamanic Tantric Certification
periodic hybrid master training/ ANANDA RUDRA’s SCHOOL
Anand Rudra together with the Be.Tantric group members, has decided to create a certification system, which will allow to achieve a Master’s Degree in the chosen area of shamanism and tantra. This system is constituted by fundamental phases of practice and knowledge.
The whole workshop has a periodical character which means, you are allowed to participate in every part without necessity of finishing any other one. It is not necessary to choose any level. Collected points from the participated workshops will show the participant’s level at the present moment.
The programme includes 3 levels: practitioner’s, intern’s and instructor’s. If you have finished any of Ananda’s workshops, they can be counted into the whole training.
Each workshop includes a lot of theoretical and practical material. The way they were constructed was thought to follow the Bologna European Academy. Each certificate issued by us meet these requirements and the workshop participation is signed by True Tantra and Be.Tantric confirmed with a certificate.
ATTENTION: this workshop is a part of a new Anand Rundra’s Tantra and Shamanism School („Primal Shamanic Tantric Certification”).
